Rise and Fall
The plains of Washington State, otherwise known as the Palouse, consist of miles upon miles of landscape that continually curves in a tapestry of lines and textures. This is hands down one of the most beautiful places I have seen on earth. From a purely photographic standpoint, the landscape can change so much from week to week that there are virtually an unlimited number of patterns and compositions to choose from…truly remarkable.
I must have gone back and forth with this one a good ten times before I chose the color version; the reason I chose the color version is because of the contrast between the tones, dramatic textures, and converging lines. -vK
